The Last Resort of Good Men
Back to Dorian Directory
Contact
The PC enters the main hall in Skyhold after talking with Dorian about Felix.
Mother Giselle: Inquisitor? If you’ve a moment. Mother Giselle: There is something I wish to discuss, Inquisitor. Mother Giselle: Your Worship. I need but a moment of your time.
The PC speaks with her.
Mother Giselle: My [lord/lady] Inquisitor, it’s good of you to speak with me. I have news regarding one of your… companions. The Tevinter.
Dialogue options:
- General: What has he done? [1]
- General: Don’t like him, do you? [2]
- General: Bad news? [3]
1 - General: What has he done? PC: (Sighs.) Has Dorian done something wrong? Mother Giselle: No, thankfully. It’s nothing like that. [4]
2 - General: Don’t like him, do you? PC: Is that a note of distaste I detect, Mother Giselle? Mother Giselle: I… admit his presence here makes me uncomfortable, Inquisitor, but my feelings are of no importance. [4]
3 - General: Bad news? PC: Nothing good, I expect. Mother Giselle: If you have reservations about his presence here, I share them, but this is another matter. [4]
4 - Scene continues.
Mother Giselle: I have been in contact with his family: House Pavus, out of Qarinus. Are you familiar with them?
Dialogue options:
- General (have not talked with Dorian about himself): No, not at all. [5]
- General (have asked Dorian about himself): They’re not on good terms. [6]
- General: We’ve never met. [7]
- General: Why are you in contact? [8]
5 - General: No, not at all. PC: I’ve never spoken to Dorian about his past. [9]
6 - General: They’re not on good terms. PC: He’s mentioned his family. They don’t appear to be on good terms. Mother Giselle: Yes, I believe you’re correct. [9]
7 - General: We’ve never met. PC: Familiar? We’ve never met, if that’s what you’re suggesting. Mother Giselle: I’m suggesting nothing. I’m only curious whether you know of his… situation. [9]
8 - General: Why are you in contact? PC: Why exactly would you be contacting Dorian’s family? Mother Giselle: I didn’t contact them, Inquisitor. They contacted me. [9]
9 - Scene continues
Mother Giselle: The family sent a letter describing the estrangement from their son and pleading for my aid. They’ve asked to arrange a meeting. Quietly, without telling him. They fear it’s the only way he’ll come. Since you seem to be on good terms with the young man, I’d hoped…
10 - Dialogue options:
- Investigate: What kind of “meeting”? [11]
- Investigate: Why would they contact you? [12]
- Investigate: They don’t want to tell him? [13]
- Investigate: This is legitimate? [14]
- General: I’m not going to trick Dorian. [15]
- General: I’ll think about it. [16]
- General: I’ve no time for this. [17]
11 - Investigate: What kind of “meeting”? PC: Just what kind of “meeting” do they have in mind? Mother Giselle: I believe they just want to talk, to understand why Dorian felt he had to come here. Somewhere private. Away from Skyhold, but not in Tevinter. You make them nervous, I think. They don’t understand why he’s with the Inquisition. They want him to come home.
Dialogue options:
- General: And if he doesn’t agree? [18]
- General: Worried parents? [19]
- General: And you want him gone. [20]
18 - General: And if he doesn’t agree? PC: What happens if Dorian doesn’t agree? Mother Giselle: Hopefully that would be the end of it. If not… well, that’s why you should be there. [back to 10] ㅤㅤ ㅤ 19 - General: Worried parents? PC: I’d be worried, too, if my son ran off to join some gauche foreigners on a crusade. Mother Giselle: So would I, although I suspect there’s more to it than either of us understands. [back to 10] ㅤㅤ ㅤ 20 - General: And you want him gone. PC: I imagine you’d be relived to see him gone. Mother Giselle: If this is what it seems, and it works out, it might be better for all concerned. [back to 10]
12 - Investigate: Why would they contact you?
PC: Why would his family contact you?
Mother Giselle: Because they don’t know you, Inquisitor. I’m not of the Imperial Chantry, but they know what I represent. These are parents concerned about the welfare of their son. How could I not do whatever possible? I would speak to the young man myself, but… he does not care for me. Thus I come to you. If any good can come of this, we must try. [back to 10]
13 - Investigate: They don’t want to tell him? PC: They don’t want Dorian to know? That seems odd. Mother Giselle: They believe the young man would refuse, and the letter implies he’d have cause. Yet they are remorseful for whatever came before. This is a chance for dialogue. There is deceit in bringing the young man to this meeting without his foreknowledge, I know. But… does it not lead to greater kindness if there is potential for reconciliation? [back to 10]
14 - Investigate: This is legitimate? PC: Are you sure this isn’t some kind of trap? I mean, the secrecy… Mother Giselle: That did occur to me. What if it is the plot of those mages… the Venatori? Another reason to put this in your hands, Inquisitor. I pray this isn’t the case, but if it is, you are far better equipped than I to respond to such treachery. [back to 10]
15 - General: I’m not going to trick Dorian. If you think I’m going to trick Dorian into meeting his family… Mother Giselle: (Sighs.) I feared you might say that.
16 - General: I’ll think about it. PC: I’ll see what I can do. Mother Giselle: Bless you, Inquisitor.
17 - General: I’ve no time for this. PC: I have better things to do than arrange family reunions. Mother Giselle: (Sighs.) I feared you might say that.
21 - Scene continues.
Mother Giselle: The family will send a retainer to meet the young man at the Redcliffe tavern to take him onward. If he truly does not wish this reunion, he can always end the matter there.
Mother Giselle (if the PC declines): I pray you change your mind, Inquisitor. Perhaps their letter will persuade you. If there is any chance of success in this, it behooves us to act. Mother Giselle (if the PC agrees): I shall pray for your success… and the young man’s happiness. That’s all we can hope for, is it not?
The PC receives the letter from Magister Pavus.
Your Reverence, ㅤㅤ ㅤ I understand that you feel inadequate to the task of bringing Dorian to a secret meeting. Even in the asking, I find it difficult to believe myself. Considering my son has rebuffed all contact, this is the only way. I know him; he would be too proud to come if he knew—even just to talk. That is all we wish to do. The thought of Dorian in the south, placing himself in the path of such danger, alarms us more than I can express. ㅤㅤ ㅤ If this somehow succeeds, we have a family retainer at the Vandral Hills watching for Dorian’s arrival. He will bring the boy to us, somewhere private. If Dorian utterly refuses to go with him, it ends there… and there is nothing we can do. We are at our wit’s end. ㅤㅤ ㅤ Graciously yours, Magister Halward of House Pavus
Optional: Your Father Sent a Letter
(Tell Dorian about his family’s intended meeting.)
PC: Dorian, there’s a letter you need to see.
Dorian: A letter? Is it a naughty letter? A humorous proposal from some Antivan dowager?
PC: Not quite. It’s from your father.
Dorian: From my father. I see. And what does Magister Halward want, pray tell?
PC: A meeting.
Dorian: Show me this letter.
—
Dorian: “I know my son.” What my father knows of me would barely fill a thimble. This is so typical. I’m willing to bet this “retainer” is a henchman, hired to knock me on the head and drag me back to Tevinter.
Dialogue options:
- General: Would he do that? [1]
- General: It could be a Venatori plot. [2]
- General: I won’t let him. [3]
1 - General: Would he do that? PC: You think your father would actually do that? Dorian: No… although I wouldn’t put it past him. [4]
2 - General: It could be a Venatori plot. PC: This could be the Venatori. Lure us somewhere remote, then an ambush… Dorian: Perhaps, although this does look like my father’s penmanship. Or… could he have joined the Venatori? No, that can’t… well, anything is possible. [4]
3 - General: I won’t let him. PC: That would be hard to do while I stood there. Dorian: He expects me to travel with Mother Giselle, although Maker knows why he’d think I would. [4]
4 - Scene continues.
Dorian: Let’s go. Let’s meet this so-called “family retainer.” If it’s a trap, we escape and kill everyone. You’re good at that. If it’s not, I send the man back to my father with the message that he can stick his alarm in his “wit’s end.”
5 - Dialogue options:
- Investigate: What’s the issue between you? [6]
- General: Let’s go. [7]
- General: You should talk to him. [8]
- General: There’s no point. [9]
6 - Investigate: What’s the issue between you? PC: There seems to be bad blood between you and your family. Dorian: (Laughs.) Interesting turn of phrase.
Dorian (if asked about his past): But you’re correct. They don’t care for my choices, nor I for theirs. PC: Because you wouldn’t get married? Because you left?
Dorian (if not asked about his past): We’ve never talked about my family before. They’re not happy with my choices, you see, nor I theirs. PC: What choices? Leaving Tevinter?
Dorian: That too. [back to 5]
7 - General: Let’s go. PC: Let’s go meet this retainer, then. Dorian: I wonder how much my father paid this man to wait around just in case I showed? (Sighs.) We’ll find out soon enough. [13]
8 - General: You should talk to him. PC: I think you should meet with this retainer… find out what your family wants. Dorian: I didn’t ask what you thought, did I? That… was unworthy, I apologize. There’d be no harm in hearing what this man of my father’s has to say. If I don’t like it, however, I want to leave.
Dialogue options:
- General: Your family’s reaching out. [10]
- General: I doubt you’ll like it. [11]
- General: Fair enough. [12]
10 - General: Your family’s reaching out. PC: Your parents are reaching out to you. Doesn’t that mean something? Dorian: Only that they’re trying to choke me. Don’t mind me. Let’s see what comes of this. [13] ㅤㅤ ㅤ 11 - General: I doubt you’ll like it. PC: I’m having trouble imagining a scenario where you’d like anything he said. Dorian: So am I, but who knows? Maybe my father has something new in mind. [13] ㅤㅤ ㅤ 12 - General: Fair enough. PC: That works for me. Dorian: I wonder how much my father paid this man to wait around just in case I showed? (Sighs.) We’ll find out soon enough. [13]
9 - General: There’s no point. PC: There’s no point in the trip if you don’t intend to go through with this. Dorian: If it’s a trap, we should spring it—else they’ll find another way. One less obvious. And if it’s not? Well, I’ll admit to a little morbid curiosity. Lead me there or not. It’s up to you. [13]
13 - Scene continues.
If the PC talks to him again: Dorian: I can’t believe my father’s gall. Of course he couldn’t come here to Skyhold! No, that would be too much. But contacting some southern cleric on the sly? Much wiser. If this is some Venatori connivance, I will be utterly disappointed.
The Family Retainer
The PC approaches the Gull and Lantern in Redcliffe.
If Dorian was told: Dorian: This is where the retainer is supposed to be? Typical drama. Come to Skyhold? no, don’t be silly…
If Dorian was not told: Dorian: We here for a drink? Not that I mind, really… just seems an odd stop.
If Dorian is not in the party: PC: Don’t see anyone waiting for us.
Party comments:
- Sera: Could’ve just stayed in Skyhold if we were meeting no one.
- Cole: Maybe he left? You don’t have what they want.
- Varric: Probably saw you coming and left. You’ve a bit of a reputation, Inquisitor.
PC: Not going to show himself unless I bring Dorian? Or never here at all?
—
The PC enters the tavern with Dorian.
Choice dependent dialogue:
- PC told Dorian
- PC did not tell Dorian
1 - PC told Dorian Dorian: Uh-oh. Nobody’s here. This doesn’t bode well.
Dorian’s father appears at he bottom of the nearby stairs.
Halward: Dorian.
Dorian: Father. So the whole story about the “family retainer” was just… what? A smoke screen?
Halward: Then you were told. [6]
2 - PC did not tell Dorian Dorian: The place is deserted? Is this normal or—?
Dorian’s father appears at he bottom of the nearby stairs.
Halward: Dorian.
Dorian: Father? You knew about this? Is that why you brought me here?
Dialogue options:
- General: I’m trying to help. [3]
- General: I like drama. [4]
- General: I was deceived. [5]
3 - General: I’m trying to help. PC: I’m only trying to help. Dorian: Help? Is that what you call this? [6]
4 - General: I like drama. PC: Well, I do like a dramatic showdown. Halward: [They] didn’t know I would be here, Dorian. [6]
5 - General: I was deceived. PC: I wasn’t expecting your father here. [6]
6 - Scene continues.
Halward walks up to them.
Halward: I apologize for the deception, Inquisitor. I never intended for you to be involved.
Dorian: Of course not. Magister Pavus couldn’t come to Skyhold and be seen with the dread Inquisitor. What would the people think? What is “this” exactly, Father? Ambush? Kidnapping? Warm family reunion?
Halward: (Sighs.) This is how it has always been.
Dialogue options:
- General: Just talk to him. [7]
- General: Maybe I should go. [8]
- General: He has a right to be angry. [9]
7 - General: Just talk to him. PC: You went through all of this to get Dorian here. Talk to him. Dorian: Yes, Father. Talk to me. Let me hear how mystified you are by my anger. [10]
8 - General: Maybe I should go. PC: I should leave you to work this out… Dorian (told Dorian): Oh, no you don’t. I want a witness. I want someone to hear the truth. [10] Dorian (did not tell Dorian): No. You wanted to involve yourself. You should hear the truth. [10]
9 - General: He has a right to be angry. PC: Considering you lied to get him here, Dorian has every right to be furious. Dorian: You don’t know the half of it! But maybe you should. [10]
10 - Scene continues.
Halward: Dorian, there’s no need to—
Dorian looks at the PC over his shoulder.
Dorian: I prefer the company of men. My father disapproves.
11 - Dialogue options:
- Investigate: “The company of men”? [12]
- Investigate: Why is it an issue? [13]
- General: Give your father a chance. [14]
- General: That’s what this is about? [15]
- General: So walk away. [16]
12 - Investigate: “The company of men”? PC; I’ll need you to explain that. Dorian: Did I stutter? Men, and the company thereof. As in sex. Surely you’ve heard of it.
- Flirt (male PC): I’ve done it. [17]
- Surprised: I had no idea. [18]
- Stoic: I had a suspicion. [19]
- Confused: No women at all? [20]
- Angry: Spare me the details. [21]
17 - Flirt: I’ve done it. PC: I’ve more than heard of it, actually. Dorian: No! The Herald of Andraste? I am shocked and scandalized. Inquisitor: Such sarcasm. ㅤㅤ ㅤ Dorian (flirted with before): You’re not exactly subtle, oh Lord Inquisitor. Dorian (not flirted with before): Now I’m trying to think of how they’ll write that verse of the Chant. ㅤㅤ ㅤ Halward: I should have known that’s what this was about. Dorian turns back to his father. Dorian: No. You don’t get to make those assumptions. You know nothing about the Inquisitor. [22] ㅤㅤ ㅤ 18 - Surprised: I had no idea. PC: I just… didn’t expect that. Dorian: Well, it’s not as if I introduced myself that way. “Hello, my name is Dorian. I like men.” Maybe I should start. Some days it seems that’s all anyone cares about. Halward: This display is uncalled for. Dorian: No, it is called for. You called for it by luring me here. [22] ㅤㅤ ㅤ 19 - Stoic: I had a suspicion. PC: This is not exactly news, Dorian. Dorian: And why should it be? Why should anyone care? I have no idea. Halward: This display is uncalled for. Dorian: No, it is called for. You called for it by luring me here. [22] ㅤㅤ ㅤ 20 - Confused: No women at all? PC: You’ve… never been with a woman? Or wanted to? ㅤㅤ ㅤ Dorian (female PC): Allow me to say: women are fine creatures. You, for instance, are amazing above all others. Dorian (male PC): Not to my recollection. Don’t get me wrong, they’re wonderful. ㅤㅤ ㅤ Dorian: They’re just… not for me. That’s not so beyond belief, is it? Halward: This display is uncalled for. Dorian: No, it is called for. You called for it by luring me here. [22] ㅤㅤ ㅤ 21 - Angry: Spare me the details. PC; That’s what I thought. No need to elaborate. Dorian: Good. I’d hate to resort to drawing pictures. Halward: This display is uncalled for. Dorian: No, it is called for. You called for it by luring me here. [22] ㅤㅤ ㅤ 22 - Scene continues. ㅤㅤ ㅤ Halward: This is not what I wanted. ㅤㅤ ㅤ Dorian: I’m never what you wanted, Father, or had you forgotten? ㅤㅤ ㅤ [Back to 11]
13 - Investigate: Why is it an issue? PC: That’s… a big concern in Tevinter, then? Dorian: Only if you’re trying to live up to an impossible standard. Every Tevinter family is intermarrying to distill the perfect mage, perfect body, perfect mind. The perfect leader. It means every perceived flaw—every aberration—is deviant and shameful. He looks at his father, who looks away. Dorian: It must be hidden. [back to 11]
14 - General: Give your father a chance. PC: Your father might be here to reach out. You could give him a chance. Dorian: Let’s just go. [23]
15 - General: That’s what this is about? PC; So that’s what all of this is about? Who you sleep with? Dorian: That’s not all it’s about. [23]
16 - General: So walk away. PC: Then walk away, Dorian. You already did that once, didn’t you? Dorian (did not tell Dorian): Yet here I am once again, no thanks to you. Dorian (told Dorian): I agree. Let’s go. There’s nothing more to be gained here. [23]
23 - Scene continues.
Halward: Dorian, please. If you’ll only listen to me.
Dorian walks up to him.
Dorian: Why? So you can spout more convenient lies? He taught me to hate blood magic. “The resort of the weak mind.” Those are his words. But what was the first thing you did when your precious heir refused to play pretend for the rest of his life? You tried to change me!
Halward: I only wanted what was best for you!
Dorian: You wanted the best for you! For your fucking legacy! Anything for that!
He storms back to the PC.
Dialogue options:
- General: You didn’t let him speak. [24]
- General: Don’t leave it like this. [25] -Dorian disapproves
- General: Are we done? [26] -Dorian disapproves
- General: Let’s get you out of here. [27]
24 - General: You didn’t let him speak. PC: You got a lot off your chest. Can’t you give him a chance to do the same? [28]
25 - General: Don’t leave it like this. PC: Don’t leave it like this, Dorian. You’ll never forgive yourself. [28]
26 - General: Are we done? PC: I hope we’re done here. Dorian: We are. They leave, and the scene ends.
27 - General: Let’s get you out of here. PC: I think it’s time we left. Dorian: I agree. They leave, and the scene ends.
28 - Scene continues.
*He walks back up to his father.
Dorian: Tell me why you came.
Halward: If I knew I would drive you to the Inquisition…
Dorian: You didn’t. I joined the Inquisition because it’s the right thing to do. Once I had a father who would have known that.
Dorian turns to leave.
Halward: Once I had a son who trusted me. A trust I betrayed. I only wanted to talk to him. To hear his voice again. To ask him to forgive me.
Dorian gives the PC a look, and the PC nods towards Halward. The PC leaves Dorian and his father to talk.
That Sort of Day
The PC walks up to Dorian, who is looking out the window.
Dorian (reconciled with his father): He says we’re alike. Too much pride. Once I would have been overjoyed to hear him say that. Now I’m not certain. I don’t know if I can forgive him.
Dorian (did not reconcile with his father): He’s a good man, my father. Deep down. He taught me principle is important. He cares for me, in his way, but he wont ever change. I can’t forgive him for what he did. I won’t.
1 - Dialogue options:
- Investigate: What did he do, exactly? [2]
- Special (high approval, can flirt): Are you all right? [3]
- General (if convinced to talk to his father): It will take time. [4]
- General (if convinced to talk to his father, after asking what he did): Forgiveness takes time. [4]
- General (if he did not talk with his father): Maybe one day. [5]
- General: It’s always blood magic. [6]
- General: What he did was wrong. [7]
2 - Investigate: What did he do, exactly? PC: He tried to change you? Dorian: Out of desperation. I wouldn’t put on a show, marry the girl, keep everything unsavory private and locked away. Selfish, I suppose, not to want to spend my entire life screaming on the inside. He was going to do a blood ritual. Alter my mind. Make me… acceptable. I found out. I left.
Dialogue options:
- Investigate: Would it have worked? [8]
- [Back to 1]
9 - Investigate: Would it have worked? PC: Can blood magic actually do that? Dorian: Maybe. It could also have left me a drooling vegetable. It crushed me to think he found that absurd risk preferable to scandal. Part of me has always hoped he didn’t really want to go through with it. If he had… I can’t even imagine the person I would be now. I wouldn’t like that Dorian. [back to 1]
3 - Special: Are you all right? PC: Are you all right? Dorian: No. Not really. [8]
4 - General: It will take time./Forgiveness takes time. PC: Maybe if you keep working at it, keep talking… Dorian: It was a start, at least. [8]
5 - General: Maybe one day. PC: Maybe one day you’ll be able to talk. See eye to eye. Dorian: You’re very optimistic. It’s a charming trait. [8]
6 - General: It’s always blood magic. PC: I’ll never understand why blood magic is supposed to solve everything. Dorian: The lure of the shortcut. Hard for anyone to resist. [8]
7 - General: What he did was wrong. PC: What your father did was wrong. Dorian: I think he knows that. It’s just hard for him to admit. Dorian: Too bad he’ll never understand why. [8]
8 - Choice dependent dialogue:
- Did not tell Dorian about the letter [9]
- Told Dorian about the letter [10]
9 - Did not tell Dorian about the letter Dorian turns towards the PC.
Dorian (did not reconcile): You could have told me. Taking me out there without a word, even if you didn’t know it would be him… why didn’t you let me decide? Dorian (reconciled): You could have told me. Maybe I wouldn’t have gone, maybe I would. How will I ever know? Why didn’t you let me decide?
Dialogue options:
- General: I’m sorry. [11] +Dorian approves
- General: I was trying to help. [12]
- General (reconciled): It worked out. [13]
- General (did not reconcile): It’s done. [14]
11 - General: I’m sorry. PC: I should have. I’m sorry. Dorian: (Sighs.) As am I, that you had to witness any of it. [15]
12 - General: I was trying to help. PC: I wasn’t trying to deceive you, just to help. Dorian (reconciled): I suppose you did, at that. [15]
Dorian (did not reconcile): As was my father, or so he claimed. But if you meant well… then thank you for the attempt. Scene ends. +Dorian approves (PC is locked out of romancing Dorian.)
13 - General: It worked out. PC: It worked out in the end, didn’t it? Dorian: By varying definitions, certainly. [15]
14 - General: It’s done. PC: That’s not how it was supposed to go. It’s done now. Dorian: It is. I’ll pretend you weren’t secretly hoping I would patch things up and go home. But if you meant well… then thank you for the attempt. Scene ends. +Dorian approves (PC is locked out of romancing Dorian.)
10 - Told Dorian about the letter Dorian turns towards the PC.
Dorian: Thank you for bringing me out there, even if it didn’t work out. Dorian: Thank you for bringing me out there. It wasn’t what I expected, but… it’s something. [15]
15 - Scene continues.
Dorian: Maker knows what you must think of me now, after that whole display.
Dialogue options:
- General: You’re brave. [16] +Dorian approves
- General: It was entertaining. [17]
- General: You’re trouble. [18] -Dorian slightly disapproves
- Special (female PC): You led me on. [19]
- Flirt (male PC): Good things. [20]
16 - General: You’re brave. PC; I think you’re very brave. Dorian: Brave? PC: It’s not easy to abandon tradition and walk your own path. [27]
17 - General: It was entertaining. PC: I don’t know. It was certainly a spectacle. Dorian: Oh? I’m so pleased to provide you amusement. Inquisitor: There has to be a reason I keep you around. Dorian: (Laughs.) Just the one? My wounded pride. [27]
18 - General: You’re trouble. PC: I think you’re trouble. Dorian: You’re not the first to say that. PC: I’m not surprised. Dorian: Fair enough. Thankfully you’ve plenty of your own troubles… against which I’m happy to help you contend. [27]
19 - Special: You led me on. PC: I think you led me on, actually. Dorian: Ah. The flirting. You’re a remarkable woman, Inquisitor. I mean that in the best way. In another life… I meant no offence. I’ll desist, if you prefer.
Dialogue options:
- General: Just don’t do it again. (Dorian will stop flirting with the PC) [21]
- General: I like flirting. [22]
- General: We can be friends. [23]
21 - General: Just don’t do it again. PC: I think that’d be best. Dorian: Of course, dear lady. [27]
ㅤㅤ ㅤ 22 - General: I like flirting. PC: Desist? Don’t you dare. Dorian: (Laughs.) I stand so instructed. [27] ㅤㅤ ㅤ 23 - General: We can be friends. PC: No harm done. Now we can be friends. Dorian: I’d like that. [27]
20 - Flirt: Good things. PC: I don’t think less of you. More, if possible. Dorian: The things you say. PC: I mean it. Dorian: My father never understood. Living a lie… it festers inside of you, like poison. You have to fight for what’s in your heart.
PC (if available to romance Dorian): I agree. They kiss. Dorian: I see you enjoy playing with fire, Inquisitor. [27]
PC (if the PC is involved with someone else): Does that include me? Dorian: It might… if you were unattached.
Dialogue options:
- General: Why do you care? [24]
- General: That can change. [25]
- General: You’re misinformed. [26]
24 - General: Why do you care? PC: What does it matter? Dorian: It matters to me. I’d rather there be no… misunderstanding with the others. [27] ㅤㅤ ㅤ 25 - General: That can change. PC: That could happen. Dorian: Good. I’d like that. [27] ㅤㅤ ㅤ 26 - General: You’re misinformed. PC: I think you’re mistaken. Dorian: Am I? Or are they? [27]
27 - Scene continues.
Dorian steps away.
Dorian: At any rate, time to drink myself into a stupor. It’s been that sort of day. Join me sometime, if you’ve a mind.
+Dorian greatly approves
