Josephine: They were still happy days. I made some dear friends in Val Royeaux.
—
- Let’s do something fun.
PC: Stroll around the grounds with me. Tell me how you’re doing, not just your work. Josephine: Well, thank you. Now let me think…
PC: I need some air. Care to accompany me? Josephine: Most certainly. Lead the way.
PC: You could use a break to clear you head. I thought we could talk a while. Josephine: That sounds delightful.
—
Josephine: Ah. That makes more sense.
- You’ll need to explain it to me. PC: I’m afraid I’m missing something here. ㅤㅤ ㅤ
- Why aren’t you more nervous? PC: You’re taking this much too calmly.
Josephine: There’s some relief in understanding why this is happening.
—
Josephine: The real Comte Boisvert, judging from his clothing.
PC: He’s still breathing. Just unconscious.
Josephine: So there was no contract on him. The House of Repose is very particular about who receives their services.
—
Josephine: Judge Auld is willing to do so, if you’ll join him for a hunt. (Sighs.) He said it would be “wonderful fun.” I couldn’t persuade him to come to us. I’m afraid you must indulge his love of sport.
—
Bellise: Now let us return to the party before we’re discussed by its flock any further.
