The Dragon Slayer

Rook: Lightning. Would’ve been good to know that earlier.

| Crow Rook | Non-Crow Rook | | — | — | | Rook: Yeah. In Treviso. They’re tough.

Taash: Yep. | Rook: No. Those are the Qunari that invaded, right?

Taash: Yep. Be ready. They go hard. |

Rook: What made you interested in working with us?

Taash: Worm’s up ahead. Watch out. It comes up at you from below.

  • Bellara: Ack! It just sproinged up at me!
  • Emmrich: (Coughs) It’s spraying sand and dirt!
  • Harding: Ah! It came out of nowhere!

Taash: Yep. It does that.

  • Davrin: Where’d it go? I’m not losing a worm!
  • Lucanis: Mierda! Where is it?
  • Neve: Damn! Where’d it go?

Taash: Wait for it.

Taash: Great. Worm’s dead. Can you bring it over here? Taash: Great. Worm’s dead. Bring the meat over to the fire?

Taash: I left the horn right up there. Can you sound it?

Taash: There she is.

Rook: She’s a big one.

  • Bellara: Okay! That’s a big dragon.
  • Davrin: It’s not an Archdemon, but still. She could ruin your day in a hurry.
  • Emmrich: A fully matured dragon, judging by her size.
  • Harding: Wow. You don’t ever get used to seeing a dragon, do you?
  • Lucanis: I never thought I’d see one in person.
  • Neve: Now, there’s a sight.

Rook: So… we should probably go, right?

Taash: Yep.

Rook: She responded quickly to the horn.

Rook: You’ve left food for her before?

Taash: The fort up there. Wanna make sure it’s clear of Antaam.

Taash: Up. We’ll get a better look at the Vinsomer as she comes in.

Taash: Then we can meet Isabela at the lair. Maybe help with the looting.

Taash: Careful! They’ve got adaar. Flame-spitters!

Rook: Where’s that smoke coming from? The dragon?

  • Bellara: Is that smoke coming from the dragon?
  • Davrin: Smoke. I think we have our dragon.
  • Emmrich: Smoke? Is that from the dragon?
  • Harding: That’s smoke. From the dragon, maybe?
  • Lucanis: Smoke. That’s not the dragon, is it?
  • Neve: Smoke. Is that from the dragon?

Taash: No. She wouldn’t do that. Something’s wrong. We need to take a look.

Rook: What do they even want with a dragon?

  • Bellara: What do the Antaam even want with a dragon?
  • Davrin: What will they do with a dragon?
  • Emmrich: Have they come for her scales?
  • Harding: Why would the Antaam need a dragon?
  • Lucanis: What do they even want with a dragon?
  • Neve: So they want the dragon. But why?

Taash: I don’t care. They’re not getting her. Come on!

Taash: She’s mine! You hear me? Rethala ataash!

Taash: Grab anything shiny. Let me know when you’re done.

Taash: And… thanks for coming back with me to help her.

Where the Dead Must Go

Might not be deleted, but I can’t get it to trigger. Bellara not in immediate party:

Rook: Find anything interesting?

Bellara: The warding magic on these obelisks is so strange. Much different than Arlathan’s.

Bellara: I think someone shut them down on purpose.

Emmrich: Fight it, Rook! You must break through that protective barrier around Despair!

Rook: It just got cold!

Emmrich: Despair’s spread to the rest of our enemies! Now all of them can freeze the air.

Rook: Looks like our only way forward.

Emmrich: Please, after you.

Emmrich: Another manifestation of despair!

Emmrich: We’ll still need the wisp. Fortunately, it hasn’t been frightened off.

  • Bellara: Okay, more despair demons. I don’t think they’ve seen us, though.
  • Davrin: Why aren’t they attacking?
  • Harding: Why is it always cold around despair demons?
  • Lucanis: The Venatori summoned a lot of these in the Ossuary. Usually by accident.
  • Neve: Despair demons. Well, fun dreams tonight.
  • Taash: Demons. Still better than corpses.

Emmrich: They’re wrapped in melancholy. Keep your distance, and we won’t draw their ire.

Rook: The Necropolis wisps look lively as ever.

Rook: Long story short? Looking for someone.

Emmrich: I should have known Venatori brought these spirits of despair. They’ve blinded our sentinels somehow. Their cult tried to make inroads in Nevarra—until the Watchers rebuffed them.

Rook: Seems like it didn’t take.

Emmrich: We’re close to the bell. It’s imperative we free it from the chains of the cultists.

Emmrich: The Venatori are siphoning raw power from the bell!

Emmrich: Shattering those chains will free the bell!

Emmrich: The Venatori are conjuring spirits!

Emmrich: Rise up!

Completing the Veilguard Pt. 2

Bellara: And all that raw magic they’ve brought into the world… they’re changing things. Waking things up.

Harding: Like whatever gave me my rock powers.

Bellara: Right. Exactly like that. They’re a giant, god-sized weight on the fabric of the world. And everything’s rolling towards them.
