Rook returns to the Lighthouse.

Rook: I need to get the team around the table and talk about what’s next.

Davrin: Right. Spend enough time as a Warden, and you’ll see plenty of death. Thought I’d gotten used to it. But Weisshaupt…

Lucanis: You blame yourself. If you’d been faster or fought harder… If you hadn’t missed your best shot at the architect of all that misery.

Bellara: You did your best. Both of you.

Davrin: We all did. Just means our best must be better.

Lucanis: It will be. Next time, we’ll be ready.

Davrin: Count on it.

Affable: Glad you two are getting along.
Rook: Seems like you’re getting along now. Better than before, at least.
Sarcastic: So you’ve made peace then.

Rook: You two done fighting, then? I can’t have you at each other’s throats.

Davrin: Lucanis is still an assassin. Kills people for money.

Harding: Not yet. But they found something else worth killing. One of her blighted dragons.

Rook: Last time we fought, we hurt this dragon enough that Ghilan’nain called it back. This time? We take it down for good. Everyone’s coming. Nothing left to chance.

Rook: So this blighted dragon just happens to lick its wounds near a bunch of Wardens? Seems convenient. I don’t trust it. Everyone’s coming on this one. No exceptions. We need to put this thing down. For good.

Rook: Strange place for it to land.

Harding: Maybe the blight drew it there?

Rook: Yeah. Maybe. We’re all going this time. No one stays behind. We need to put this thing down. For good.

Harding: This time, we’ve got a dragon hunter on our side. Right, Taash?

Rook: We took down an Archdemon. And we nearly defeated this dragon last time. We’ll handle whatever the gods throw at us. Now let’s go kill this thing.

Rook: Everyone, get your gear together. Potions, arrows, whatever you need. Time to kill a blighted dragon.
