Choice dependent dialogue:

  • Given to the Wardens [1]
  • Free to atone [2]
  • Imprisoned [3]

1 - Given to the Wardens Blackwall: “Helped stop an ancient magister darkspawn.” Not every Warden-Recruit gets to say that. Thanks to you, I do.

Dialogue options:

  • General: You played an essential part. [4]
  • General: I’m a helper. [5]
  • General: It gives you credibility. [6]

4 - General: You played an essential part. PC: We couldn’t have done it without you. Blackwall: You’ve done enough for me. Forget the flattery. [10] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 5 - General: I’m a helper. PC: That’s me! Helping people prove themselves to future employers. Blackwall: (Chuckles.) [10] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 6 - General: It gives you credibility. PC: After impersonating one of their own, you’ll need that clout to win over the Wardens. Blackwall: I’m glad you’re still willing to tell it to me straight. [10]

2 - Free to atone Blackwall: All this pomp and ceremony? Can’t top seeing that bastard Corypheus burn. No matter what happens to me now, I can say I was there. I helped you bring him down.

Dialogue options:

  • General: We did it together. [7]
  • General: And survived! [8]
  • General: There’ll be more like him. [9]

7 - General: We did it together. PC: It took all of us, but we did it. Blackwall: I shudder to think where we’d be without you leading us. [10] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 8 - General: And survived! PC: And lived to tell the tale! [10] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 9 - General: There’ll be more like him. PC: It’s not over. It’s never over. There’s always someone who steps out of line. Blackwall: You sure know how to ruin a party. Look, let’s just focus on the good for now. [10]

10 - Scene continues.

Blackwall: So now that you’ve saved the world, what’s next? Hoping to put it all back together?

Dialogue options:

  • General: It’s a tremendous task. [11]
  • General: Might as well. [12]
  • General: Hope is useless. [13]

11 - General: It’s a tremendous task. PC: It’ll be a huge undertaking. Blackwall (low approval): Well, I still hope you know what you’re doing. Blackwall (romanced): If anyone can do it, you can. And I’ll be right by your side. Blackwall (high approval): If anyone can do it, you can. If you ever need my help, you know where to find me. I’ll be ready. [14]

12 - General: Might as well. PC: Someone has to fix things. Might as well be me. Blackwall (low approval): Let’s hope you don’t make it worse. Blackwall (romanced): If anyone can do it, you can. And I’ll be right by your side. Blackwall (high approval): If anyone can do it, you can. If you ever need my help, you know where to find me. I’ll be ready. [14]

13 - General: Hope is useless. PC: It’s going to take action, not hope. [14]

14 - Scene ends.

3 - Imprisoned Blackwall: So it’s over. The battle’s finally won. The Breach sealed and Corypheus dead.

Dialogue options:

  • General: You did good work. [15]
  • General: And we’re alive. [16]
  • General: And you think all’s forgiven? [17]

15 - General: You did good work. PC: You played a big part. I won’t forget it. [18] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 16 - General: And we’re alive. PC: He’s dead, we’re not. All things considered, good day. Blackwall: (Chuckles.) [18] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 17 - General: And you think all’s forgiven? PC: I haven’t forgotten your lie, Rainier. You think your part in this somehow absolves you? Blackwall: Clearly it doesn’t. [18]

18 - Scene continues.

Blackwall: You may never forgive me for what I did, but thank you anyway. You gave me the chance to fight for something. Somethings good.

Scene ends.

Cassandra

The PC finds Cassandra standing near the center of the room.

Cassandra: I can’t believe it’s over. It seemed an impossible task: defy the Chantry, build the Inquisition from nothing, defeat a creature that would be a god… And yet here we are, celebrating.

Dialogue options:

  • Flirt (romanced): As long as you’re here. [1]
  • General: It’s worth celebrating. [2]
  • General: I had my own doubts. [3]
  • General: You doubted me? [4]

1 - Flirt: As long as you’re here. PC: What’s important is that you’re here with me. Cassandra: There was a moment after the orb exploded… I thought for certain you were dead. I prayed. “Don’t take him from me, not after all we’ve been through.” And then I saw you through the smoke. Sometimes the Maker is kind. [5]

2 - General: It’s worth celebrating. PC: So we should be. Defeating Corypheus was no simple task. Cassandra: He was so confident of his power, he could not conceive of losing. PC: If he could, he would never have challenged me. Cassandra: And he would have gone into hiding. Yes, it worked out far better this way. [5]

3 - General: I had my own doubts. PC: I wasn’t sure we’d make it, either. Cassandra: A rather bizarre feeling, as if we’ve stumbled blindly into a forbidden future. PC (sided mages) Better than the future we saw at Redcliffe. PC (sided templars): Better than the future the envy demon showed us. Cassandra: Much better. [5]

4 - General: You doubted me? PC: Had your doubts about me, did you? Cassandra (negative approval): Of course I did, yet in the end you prevailed. Cassandra (high approval): About you? Never. Cassandra (neutral approval): Not about your willingness or ability. [5]

  • General: I’m happy for you. [13]
  • General: We still have time. [14]

We still have time. [11]

  • General: Congratulations. [16]
  • General: We’ll remain friends? [17]
  • General: You’re being a fool. [18]

18 - General: You’re being a fool. PC: Are you sure that’s wise? Cassandra: I intend to do my best, regardless of what others might think. [11]

8 - Cassandra Divine, neutral approval Cassandra: I have news from the sequester. I believe the Chantry intends to name me Divine very soon. If that happens, it is largely because of you. I am very grateful.

Dialogue options:

  • General: Congratulations. [19]
  • General: Let’s stay on good terms. [20]
  • General: Just remember that. [21]
  • General: You’re being a fool. [22]

19 - General: Congratulations. PC: That’s good news. [11] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 20 - General: Let’s stay on good terms. Then I hope we remain on good terms, even once you’re Divine. Cassandra: That would please me greatly. [11] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 21 - General: Just remember that. PC: Just remember that once you’re Divine. Cassandra: I shall. [11] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 22 - General: You’re being a fool. PC: Are you sure that’s wise? Cassandra: I intend to do my best, regardless of what others might think. [11]

9 - Cassandra Divine, low approval Cassandra: I have news from the sequester. I believe the Chantry intends to name me Divine very soon. We are not on the best of terms, but I want you to know I’m grateful for all you’ve done.

Dialogue options:

  • General: Congratulations.[23]
  • General: Just remember that. [24]
  • General: You’re being a fool. [25]

23 - General: Congratulations. PC: That’s good news. [11] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 24 - General: Just remember that. PC: Just remember that once you’re Divine. Cassandra: I shall. [11] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 25 - General: You’re being a fool. PC: Are you sure that’s wise? Cassandra: I intend to do my best, regardless of what others might think. [11]

10 - Encouraged to rebuild the Seekers Cassandra: I intend to rebuild the Seekers of Truth—to make us the Order we were meant to be. That will take time.

Cassandra (romanced): Meanwhile, I am free to remain here… with you. Cassandra (neutral/positive approval): Meanwhile, I am free to with the Inquisition. Cassandra (negative approval): Meanwhile, I remain free to serve the Inquisition… if you require me. [11]

11 - Scene continues.

Choice dependent dialogue:

  • Positive approval, PC claimed chosen [26]
  • Positive approval, PC not Andrastian [27]
  • Positive approval, Andrastian PC [28]
  • Negative approval [29]

26 - Positive approval, PC claimed chosen Cassandra: I think back to how we first met… and here you stand. The Chosen of Andraste, proven in the eyes of all Thedas.

Cassandra (romanced): And you are the man I love. How did that happen, I wonder? Know that I will always stand with you. Cassandra (high approval): And you are my friend. How did that happen, I wonder? I’m pleased it did. You are a great [person], and I will always stand at your side. Cassandra (neutral approval): Despite all my doubts, despite everything, you proved to be exactly what we needed. [30]

27 - Positive approval, PC not Andrastian Cassandra: I think back to how we first met… and here you stand. You are not a believer, I know, yet you have come to mean so much to us all.

28 - Positive approval, religious PC Cassandra: I think back to how we first met… and here you stand. You are the Inquisitor, a symbol of hope and of change to so many.

29 - Negative approval Cassandra: It’s odd, isn’t it? I was almost certain the Maker was playing some cosmic joke on me, on us all. Yet you were exactly what we needed. No matter what comes next, I will remember that. [30]

30 - Scene ends.

Cole

The PC finds Cole perched on one of the tables.

Choice dependent dialogue:

  • Cole made more human, helped fight Corypheus [1]
  • Cole made more spirit, helped fight Corypheus [2]
  • Never found the amulet/personal quest unfinished [3]
  • Cole made more spirit, not brought to final battle [4]
  • Cole made more human, not brought to final battle [5]
  • Cole’s personal quest never started [6]

1 - Cole made more human, helped fight Corypheus Cole: He tried to bind me, but it failed. Did you see it? Did you see me? Demons are bound when you tell them what they are so loudly that it’s all they can hear. They have to be what you want. But I know who I am now! I am me, thanks to you.

Dialogue options:

  • General: Give yourself credit. [7]
  • General: No problem. [8]
  • General: Good. [9]

7 - General: Give yourself credit. PC: You did it yourself, Cole. Cole: Maybe I did. [22] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 8 - General: No problem. PC: Any time you need another painful voyage of self-discovery, just let me know. Cole: I’m fine for now, thank you. [22] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 9 - General: Good. PC: Glad to hear it. Cole: So am I. [22]

2 - Cole made more spirit, helped fight Corypheus Cole: Thank you for finding the amulet and making it work. I felt him try and fail, before we beat him. He would have made me a monster, but instead, he’s dead. And I’m free.

Dialogue options:

  • General: You’re safe. [10]
  • General: So you are. [11]
  • General: You saved the world. [12]

10 - General: You’re safe. PC: You need never worry about anyone binding you. Cole: Thank you. [22] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 11 - General: So you are. PC: Good thing we found the amulet. [22] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 12 - General: You saved the world. PC: More than that, we stopped Corypheus from destroying the world. Cole: That’s good too. [22]

3 - Never found the amulet/personal quest unfinished Cole: I couldn’t come with you. He would have bound me, broken me, made me a monster. But he’s dead now, so I’m safe.

Dialogue options:

  • General: Good. [13]
  • General: Are you sure? [14]
  • General: No more arguing, then. [15]

13 - General: Good. PC: I’m glad to hear it. [22] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 14 - General: Are you sure? PC: If you’re still worried about someone trying to bind you… Cole: No. No one else has the power. I’m stronger than they are. [22] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 15 - General: No more arguing, then. PC: I expect you to come along with no further complaints. Cole: Yes. [22]

4 - Cole made more spirit, not brought to final battle Cole: They’re all happy. There’s still fear, but you helped them all. You healed what was hurt. They don’t want to forget what happened, even if it gives them nightmares. It would hurt less, but it matters to them.

Dialogue options:

  • General: They need the fear. [16]
  • General: I could lose some of it. [17]
  • General: Stay out of their minds. [18]

16 - General: They need the fear. PC: The fear reminds people of what they fought for. It gives the victory significance. Cole: It’s part of being people. I know. I don’t understand, but they need it. [22] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 17 - General: I could lose some of it. PC: There are a few parts I wouldn’t mind forgetting. Cole: All right. PC: Cole, wait. Cole: It was a joke. You like those sometimes, to make the fear seem smaller. [22] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 18 - General: Stay out of their minds. PC: Just let it be. [22]

5 - Cole made more human, not brought to final battle Cole: So many people died. More still are hurting. They need help. It seems wrong to celebrate. But… I want to. The part of me that’s me needs to, after all this. The servants are drinking. Some of them are drinking while lying down.

Dialogue options:

  • General: Would you like to join them? [19]
  • General: Yes, that happens. [20]
  • General: You stay here. [21]

19 - General: Would you like to join them? PC: Do you have any interest in joining them? Cole: I don’t know. Not now. It makes things more complicated, and I’m not ready. Someday, maybe. [22] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 20 - General: Yes, that happens. PC: The servants are known to do that, yes. Cole: I don’t think it was about the drink. I think it was something else. PC: Hmm. [22] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 21 - General: You stay here. PC: There’s plenty to drink right here. Cole: I don’t think it was about the drink. I think it was something else. Inquisitor: Hmm. [22]

6 - Cole’s personal quest never started Cole: They’re happy, but there’s still fear all around. Corypheus was the cause, but there’s more to fix. [22]

22 - Scene continues:

Cole (more spirit): I think I could return to the Fade if I tried. I’m light enough to slip through. But I’d like to stay and help for a while, if that’s all right. I can still help people here. Cole (more human/personal quest never started): What happens next? Where do we go?

Dialogue options:

  • General: Right now, we celebrate. PC: For tonight, we remind the world, and each other, that we’re alive. ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ
  • General: There’s much to be done. PC: The Inquisition is just getting started. ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ
  • General: It’s going to be exciting. PC: It will be interesting to see what comes next.

Cole: Yes. Because of you. Thank you for letting me stay.

Dorian

Dorian is leaning against a table when the PC approaches.

Dorian: I was passing through the hall this morning, and a serving girl saw me and squealed. Actually squealed. Dropped her laundry and everything. Such a mess. She was completely breathless. “You were at the battle with the Evil One, weren’t you?” I didn’t even get a chance to answer. She hugged me. Hugged me. This is your influence.

Dialogue options:

  • General (positive approval): You’re a hero. [1]
  • General (negative approval): You wanted to help [2]
  • General: You enjoy it. [3]
  • General: It won’t last. [4]

1 - General: You’re a hero. PC: That’s what happens when you’re a hero. Dorian: Is that so? Must be why it’s so unfamiliar. [5]

2 - General: You wanted to help PC: You wanted to stay and help, remember? Dorian: do remember, I didn’t think it would mean people touching me. [5]

3 - General: You enjoy it. PC: Admit it. You’re having a ball. Dorian: I don’t trust camaraderie. All these people smiling, buying me drinks… it’s unnatural. [5]

4 - General: It won’t last. PC: Just wait. The notoriety won’t last long. Dorian: You, they’ll remember. Me, one day I’ll be that piece of minutiae they use to trip up aspiring historians. [5]

5 - Scene continues.

Dorian: Mind you, I can’t say I hate the notion of being “the good Tevinter.” “I suppose you can’t all be evil bastards.” The blacksmith said that, and he spat when we first met. I hope my father hears. He will shit his smallclothes from shock, I swear.

Dialogue options:

  • Flirt (romanced): I’m glad you’re here. [6]
  • General: You’re a good example. [7]
  • General: Thank you for your help. [8]
  • General: Will you be leaving? [9]

6 - Flirt: I’m glad you’re here. PC: I’m happy you’re here, after all that’s happened… Dorian: I fully expected to die. It would have been thematically appropriate. And you! You could have been a martyr! Oh, the songs they would have composed. PC: There will still be songs. Dorian: Yes, but they won’t have the same gravitas. We’ll just have to be satisfied with being alive. And together.[10]

7 - General: You’re a good example. PC: You’re an example of how noble Tevinter could be. Dorian: For southerners, maybe. Back home they’ll be rolling their eyes behind their fans. Meanwhile they’ll conveniently forget the bastards who wanted Corypheus ruling us all. [10]

8 - General: Thank you for your help. PC: I appreciate everything you’ve done for us. [10]

Dorian (romanced): This from the man with whom I spend my nights. Such elaborate praise. PC: You know what I mean Dorian: I do. I’m just glad I managed to survive. Rather unexpected, all things considered.

Dorian (negative approval): You do? That’s a surprise. PC: You know what I mean Dorian: I do. I’m just glad I managed to survive. Rather unexpected, all things considered.

Dorian (neutral/positive approval): So you should. Being appreciated is a nice change of pace, though. I’m also pleased to come out of it alive. I wasn’t expecting that. PC: You thought you’d die? Dorian: Didn’t you? The hero dies in all the best stories. Anything else just sounds so implausible. [10]

9 - General: Will you be leaving? PC: Will you be returning to Tevinter now? [10]

10 - Choice dependent dialogue:

  • Dorian encouraged to return to Tevinter [11]
  • Dorian was not spoken with about Tevinter/asked to stay [12]

11 - Dorian encouraged to return to Tevinter Dorian: I’ve decided to return to Tevinter. Perhaps not right away–too many interesting things here. Dorian (after “will you be leaving?”): Soon. For the moment, there’s too many interesting things here just to up and go.

Choice dependent dialogue:

  • Romancing Iron Bull [13]
  • Romanced [14]
  • Neutral/negative approval [15]
  • High approval [16]
  • Positive approval [17]

13 - Romancing Iron Bull PC: Would that have anything to do with Iron Bull? Dorian: It might. You know how it is. Plus, what would you do without me? PC: How will I ever know unless you go? Dorian: Oh, clever. See? I keep your wits sharp. Scene ends. ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 14 - Romanced Plus there’s you. It’ll be hard enough to leave, but I certainly won’t until I’m through with you. PC: Or I’m through with you. Dorian: Oh, please. We both know that won’t happen. Scene ends. ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 15 - Neutral/negative approval PC: I see. Dorian: (Chuckles.) Don’t worry. I’ll be out of your hair soon enough. Scene ends. ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 16 - High approval PC: Interesting things? Dorian: Such as my best and only friend. My homeland calls, but… I’m not ready to leave just yet. Scene ends. ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 17 - Positive approval Dorian: Plus, what would you do without me? PC: How will I ever know unless you go? Dorian: Oh, clever. See? I keep your wits sharp. Scene ends.

12 - Dorian was not spoken with about Tevinter/was asked to stay Dorian: I’ve decided to stay with the Inquisition. For now. Dorian (after “will you be leaving?”): No, actually. I was thinking of sticking around… for a while.

PC: You will?

Dorian (romanced): There’s no you in Tevinter. What else matters?

Dorian (neutral/negative approval): I know you’d rather I left. I will, eventually. For now I’m rather enjoying the South.

Dorian (male PC, flirted, not in another relationship): As I recall, we left a conversation hanging. I’d hate to leave before finishing it.

Dorian (high approval): Tevinter lacks the presence of my best and only friend. It’ll keep.

Dorian (positive approval): Absolutely. There’s too much fun to be had, and really—what would you do without me?

Scene ends.

Iron Bull

Iron bull is sitting at the head of one of the tables with a tankard in hand.

Iron Bull (helped fight Corypheus): That was the Tevinter-est Vint in the history of all Vints. The original mold from which subsequent Vints were cast. And I got to help kick the shit out of him. Good times, boss. Good times.

Iron Bull (not brought to final battle): So… demons, dragons, giant asshole Vint on a big magic rock? You don’t let it get dull, boss. Good stuff.

Dialogue options:

  • General (helped fight Corypheus): I’m glad you were there. [1]
  • General (not brought to final battle): Thank you for the help. [2]
  • General: That was good? Really? [3]
  • General: It’s not done yet. [4]

1 - General: I’m glad you were there. PC: There’s no one I would’ve rather had at my side, Bull. Iron Bull: Same here. I got to kill another dragon and fight a Vint. Those poor bastards on the ground had demons. [5]

2 - General: Thank you for the help. PC: You helped make it possible, Bull. Iron Bull: That’s what they pay me for. [5]

3 - General: That was good? Really? PC: How was that good in any way, Bull? Iron Bull: We all walked away. Chantry folk are picking up what’s left of Corypheus with a dustpan and a pastry scraper. [5]

4 - General: It’s not done yet. PC: Corypheus left us a big mess to clean up. Iron Bull: Right. Probably not as many giant explosions in the sky from here on out, though. [5]

5 - Choice dependent dialogue:

  • Became Tal-Vashoth [6]
  • Remained Ben-Hassrath [7]

6 - Became Tal-Vashoth Iron Bull: It’s weird. I joined the Inquisition under orders from the Ben-Hassrath and stayed because Corypheus was an asshole. Now that it’s done, I’ve got no orders. For the first time in my life, I can go wherever I want.

Dialogue options:

  • General: You can’t beat staying here. [8]
  • General: Where do you want to go? [9]
  • General: I wish you luck. [10]
  • Flirt (romanced): Or go nowhere. [11]

8 - General: You can’t beat staying here. PC: You know I’ll find you the best fights. Iron Bull: I know, I know. Anyway, the only place I’m going tonight is back for more drinks. To us being alive and the bad guys not! (Drinks.) Anaan! [12] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 9 - General: Where do you want to go? PC: Got anywhere in mind? Iron Bull: If it’s all the same with you, I’m pretty good right here. Anyway, the only place I’m going tonight is back for more drinks. To us being alive and the bad guys not! (Drinks.) Anaan! [12] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 10 - General: I wish you luck. PC: Good luck. Wherever you end up, they’ll be lucky to have you. Iron Bull: I think I’m good right here, for now. The best fights always seem to find you. If I left, I’d just get jealous hearing about all the great shit I was missing. [12] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 11 - Flirt: Or go nowhere. PC: Or you could stay. Iron Bull: Or I could stay. Anyway, the only place I’m going tonight is back for more drinks. To us being alive and the bad guys not! (Drinks.) Anaan! [12] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 12 - Scene ends.

7 - Remained Ben-Hassrath Iron Bull (saved the dreadnought): The Ben-Hassrath are pleased. Their agents are checking for remnants of the cult in Tevinter. Iron Bull (Personal quest not started): The Ben-Hassrath are still worried about the Inquisition’s power. Happy Corypheus is dead, though.

Iron Bull: I expect they’ll call me back for a more detailed report. Not many experts on demons and old magisters under the Qun.

Dialogue options

  • General: They’re lucky to have you. [13]
  • General: Is that what you want? [14]
  • General: We owe you. [15]
  • General (romanced): You’re leaving? [16]

13 - General: They’re lucky to have you. PC: I hope the Ben-Hassrath appreciate the good work you’ve done here. Iron Bull: It’s not about appreciation under the Qun. It’s about doing the job. Belonging. And we’ve got some time. [17] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 14 - General: Is that what you want? PC: You’re happy to go back to living under the Qun? Iron Bull: I think… yeah. Iron Bull was fun, but it’s time to be Qunari again. I think I’ll be ready when they call me in. [17] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 15 - General: We owe you. PC: The Inquisition owes you a great deal. Iron Bull: Hey, you paid me a great deal. And we’re not done yet. [17] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 16 - General: You’re leaving? PC: Do you have to leave? Iron Bull: Not for a while yet, Kadan. [17]

17 - Scene continues.

Iron Bull: Corypheus was a busy guy. I figure we’ve still got some cleanup work to do. But not tonight. Tonight, we get shitfaced one last time. To us being alive and the bad guys not! (Drinks.) Anaan!

Scene ends.

Sera

The PC walks up to where Sera is sitting on a stool near one of the tables.

Sera: Finally got a party, yeah? A bit of fun for saving the world?

Choice dependent dialogue:

  • Romance [1]
  • Negative approval [2]
  • Neutral/positive approval [3]

1 - Romance Sera: Shame it couldn’t be for everyone Coryphesack hurt. But I suppose… I suppose the would be everyone. Piss, imagine the line for drinks. Anyway, shake every hand, Lady Herald of Andraste. You’re why they’re here.

Dialogue options:

  • General: We did it together. [4]
  • General: And you’re why I’m here. [5]
  • General: I’d rather just be with you. [6]

4 - General: We did it together. PC: These people can celebrate because of you. It was you and me together. Sera: Right, well, keep that to yourself. I don’t want to be top of the names if this happens again. Go on, go look pretty for the rest. I’ll get you alone after. [7]

5 - General: And you’re why I’m here. PC: Andraste’s whatever couldn’t have done any of this without you. Well, I could’ve. But it wouldn’t have been half as fun. Sera: Pfft! Fun? You’re a loony. My loony. Hurry up with the others, I’ll show you something else you can’t do without me. Me. You can’t do me without… me. Just hurry up! [7]

6 - General: I’d rather just be with you. PC: This lot can entertain themselves. I’d prefer some time just for you and me. Sera: (Chuckles) Don’t you frigging worry. Go on, go look pretty for the rest. I’ll get you alone after. [7]

7 - Scene ends.

2 - Negative approval Sera: It’s the least Andraste’s Herald deserves for making things normal again. Except for, you know, everything ever again. I mean, is this for us, or for Her? Or, you know, “Him”? Because I was there, and I still don’t know what’s real.

Dialogue options:

  • General (Andrastian PC): The Maker acted through us. [8]
  • General (non-Andrastian PC): We stood for ourselves.[9]
  • General: Maybe it was a bit of both. [10]
  • General: Whatever brings comfort. [11]
  • General: You tell me. [12]
  • General: Just celebrate. We earned it. [13]

8 - General: The Maker acted through us. PC: We were vessels for His will. We always have been. Sera: Always? Even when you were acting like a shit? Well, that just seems weird. I’m thinking winning doesn’t mean you have it all figured out. Maybe you’re just less wrong than Corypytits was. And how hard is that? He was real wrong. [14]

9 - General: We stood for ourselves. PC: We did this. There’s nothing mysterious about how hard it was to save ourselves. Sera: Oh, it was hard. And you acting like a shit made it harder. You’re definitely not right about everything. I’m thinking winning doesn’t mean you have it all figured out. Maybe you’re just less wrong than Corypytits was. And how hard is that? He was real wrong. [14]

10 - General: Maybe it was a bit of both. PC: Couldn’t it be His will and our effort? Perhaps miracles need a little help. Sera: Well, what’s the frigging point of them, then? Ugh, you sound like a sister. I’m thinking winning doesn’t mean you have it all figured out. Maybe you’re just less wrong than Corypytits was. And how hard is that? He was real wrong. [14]

11 - General: Whatever brings comfort. PC: In the wake of the mess, people should think whatever brings them comfort. Sera: You would blow this off. Fine. Whatever. [14]

12 - General: You tell me. PC: What do you think, Sera? Like you said, you were there.

Sera (Andrastian PC): I think… I think you seemed real sure of it along the way. Of the Maker thing. You’re wrong about a lot. though. I’m thinking winning doesn’t mean you have it all figured out. Maybe you’re just less wrong than Corypytits was. And how hard is that? He was real wrong. [14]

Sera (non-Andrastian PC): I think… I think that if the Maker was helping, it shouldn’t have been so frigging hard. And you acting like a shit made it worse. I’m thinking winning doesn’t mean you have it all figured out. Maybe you’re just less wrong than Corypytits was. And how hard is that? He was real wrong. [14]

Sera (romance ended, negative approval): I think… I think it should have gone on a little longer, so you and me… Well, you and me nothing, I suppose. “saved the world” or not, you’re still a bit of a wrong’un. [14]

13 - General: Just celebrate. We earned it. PC: Let the philosophers worry about that. Tonight is for celebrating. Sera: You would blow this off. Fine. Whatever. [14]

14 - Scene continues.

I’m getting some drinks—all the drinks—and then I’m going back to playing in Val Royeaux… or something. Cheers, Inquisitor. Wish it’d been fun, but I’ll settle for “over.”

Scene ends.

3 - Neutral/positive approval Sera: It’s the least Andraste’s Herald deserves for making things normal again. Except for, you know, everything ever again. I mean, is this for us, or for Her? Or, you know, “Him”? Because I was there, and I still don’t know what’s real.

Dialogue options:

  • General (Andrastian PC): The Maker acted through us. [15]
  • General (non-Andrastian PC): We stood for ourselves. [16]
  • General: Maybe it was a bit of both. [17]
  • General: Whatever brings comfort. [18]
  • General: You tell me. [19]
  • General: Just celebrate. We earned it. [20]

15 - General: The Maker acted through us. PC: We were vessels for His will. We always have been. Sera: Weird, but all right, I suppose. It makes… a kind of sense. [23]

16 - General: We stood for ourselves. PC: We did this. There’s nothing mysterious about how hard it was to save ourselves. Sera: I suppose. Feels weird, though. Nothing out there. [23]

17 - General: Maybe it was a bit of both. PC: Couldn’t it be His will and our effort? Perhaps miracles need a little help. Sera: Well, what’s the frigging point of them, then? Ugh, you sound like a sister. [23]

18 - General: Whatever brings comfort. PC: In the wake of the mess, people should think whatever brings them comfort. Sera: So… you don’t know. Like everyone else. Fine. Put it all behind us. [23]

19 - General: You tell me. PC: What do you think, Sera? Like you said, you were there.

Sera (Andrastian PC): I think… I think you seemed real sure of it along the way. Of the Maker thing. I guess you’d know by this point. Seems like you did it right. mostly. [23]

Sera (non-Andrastian PC): I think… I think that if the Maker was helping, it shouldn’t have been so frigging hard. Seems like the only thing we can count on is other people. [23]

Sera (romance ended, positive approval): I think… I think it should have gone on a little longer, so you and me… Well, that doesn’t matter now. An ending, that’s all everyone needs. Still, pity.

Dialogue options:

  • General: It is a pity. [21]
  • General: We wouldn’t have worked out well. [22]

21 - General: It is a pity. PC: Sera, if there had been more time… Sera: More people would have died. [23] ㅤㅤ ㅤ ㅤ 22 - General: We wouldn’t have worked out well. PC: I don’t know if we were a good fit. Sera: Probably not. Doesn’t matter. You’ve got other things to worry about. [23]

20 - General: Just celebrate. We earned it. PC: Let the philosophers worry about that. Tonight is for celebrating. [23]

23 - Scene continues.

Sera: Some things to do yet, right? Because I’m in no hurry to go back to… Val Royeaux, that’s where I was. You mind if people stay around? For whatever?

Dialogue options:

  • General: Of course, you’re like family. [24]
  • General: There’s plenty more to do. [25]
  • General: Could I stop you? [26]

24 - General: Of course, you’re like family. PC: This is home, if you’ll have it. Sera: (Laughs.) Shut it, you. I cry, I’m punching everyone. [27]

25 - General: There’s plenty more to do. PC: I could use the company, because this doesn’t seem like it’ll end. Sera: Aww, poor leader of everything. (Laughs.) [27]

26 - General: Could I stop you? PC: You’d listen if I said “leave”? Sera: Pfft. What do you think? [27]

27 - Scene continues.

Sera: All right, enough of that. Is this a party or what? Raise ‘em for winning! Big friggin heroes, Inquisitor. All of us.

Scene ends.

Varric

Varric is sitting at the head of one of the tables with a drink in hand.

Varric: I’ve been starting to think about putting all this into a book.

Varric (Qunari PC): What do you think of This Shit Is Weird: The Inquisitor Adaar Story. Varric (Dalish PC): Right now I’m thinking: This Shit Is Weird: The Inquisitor Lavellan Story. Varric (dwarf PC): How does This Shit Is Weird: The Inquisitor Cadash Story strike you? Varric (human PC): I’m thinking: This Shit Is Weird: The Inquisitor Trevelyan Story. What do you think?

Varric: It’s a working title.

Dialogue options:

  • General: I’m glad you’re writing. [1]
  • General: Keep working. [2]
  • General: It’s awful. [3]

1 - General: I’m glad you’re writing. PC: I’m glad you’ve gone back to writing. Varric: Well, nothing’s certain until it’s in print. [4]

2 - General: Keep working. PC: Maybe you should keep working. Varric: I’ll leave the title for last. Naming things is always the worst. [4]

3 - General: It’s awful. PC: Don’t use that. Varric: Spoilsport. [4]

4 - Scene continues.

Varric: I still haven’t decided if I should do this book. As if anyone will believe this story if I tell it. Not to mention, I’ll have my hands full with reconstruction and relief efforts in the Free Marches as soon as I get back.

  • General: Focus on helping people. [6]
  • General: You should stay here. [7]

6 - General: Focus on helping people. PC: Don’t divide your efforts. The people of the Free Marches are more important than a story. Varric: As it happens, I agree with you. Kirkwall is in bad shape, and a lot of other city-states were hit hard by the war. [8]

7 - General: You should stay here. PC: The Inquisition could still use you here. Varric: That’s generous of you, but it’s past time that I went back and took care of things in Kirkwall. [8]

8 - Scene continues.

Varric: I’m not leaving for a while yet, though. We’ll have to get in at least one Game of Wicked Grace before I go.

Varric (invited to Wicked Grace with companions): Curly needs to win back some of his dignity. Varric (did not get invited to Wicked Grace): I can’t leave until you can bluff at least a little.

Will wonders never cease. [9]

7 - General: You ran the army, not me. PC: Our soldiers put their trust in you, Cullen. I appreciate everything you’ve done. Cullen (told to continue lyrium): I fulfilled my duties, Inquisitor. You brought us here. Cullen (quit lyrium): I should be thanking you. You gave me a chance to… to prove myself. In your place, I’m not sure I would have done the same. Josephine: Oh, I should never have hired new caterers so late.

Leliana: Leave it be, Josie! Everything’s fine!

  • General: Everything is lovely. [1]
  • General: Dare I say no? [2]
  • General: Stop and take a breath. [3]

1 - General: Everything is lovely. PC: The drinks are fine. It’s been a wonderful evening. Josephine: I hope you’re not just saying that. You’re not, are you? [4]

2 - General: Dare I say no? PC: If I told you the port was a little dry, would you burst into flame? Josephine: You’re joking, yes? Please tell me you’re joking? [4]

3 - General: Stop and take a breath. PC: If you don’t pause for a moment, your heart is going to stop. Josephine: At least I’d be spared another incident. [4]

4 - Scene continues.

Josephine: What a disaster. The sommelier was late, the invitations to our guests barely went out at all, and… and… (Sighs.) 2 - General: Ooh, cakes! PC: I love tiny cakes! And there are so many! Which should I try first? Leliana: I would avoid the dark ones topped with gold dust. Deep mushroom and anise. An awful combination, but it’s quite popular in Val Royeaux. I believe they call it “the Exquisite Misery.” Orlais. [4]

3 - General: I don’t feel like cake. PC: I’m not in the mood for cake. Leliana: What are you in the mood for then? Wine? Perhaps something stronger? Come, this celebration is in your honor. Take some time. Indulge. You deserve it. [4]

4 - Scene continues.

Softened Leliana: To you, my friend. If it wasn’t for you, we wouldn’t be standing here. And I… would still be lost. You gave me back my hope and my faith. And for that, I thank you.

Hardened Leliana: To you, my friend. If it wasn’t for you, we wouldn’t be standing here. And I… would still be shackled by the past. You’ve given me new resolve. And for that, I thank you.

Personal quest not completed Leliana: To you, Inquisitor. For all you’ve done.

Scene ends.
