Rook: The Antaam soldiers here…
- Bellara: These ruins are under a lot of strain from the water, and the magic’s starting to fail.
- Harding: This place could come down right under us. Or on top of us, if that magic barrier falls.
- Neve: I’m surprised the place hasn’t fallen apart. Even magic is barely holding it together.
Rook: So, we break the crystals and open it, right?
- Bellara: This is probably our last chance to back out, if we’re going to.
- Harding: If you’re having any second thoughts, Rook, this is our chance to turn around.
- Neve: This is it. Once we’re through, that’s when the fun starts.
- Rook: There’s no turning back. Let’s get in there.
Rook: Who’s Calivan?
Rook: So your target…
Lucanis: Calivan. The warden of the Ossuary. He oversees everything here.
- Bellara: So, where are we going?
- Harding: So, where do we find him?
- Neve: Oversees it from where?
Lucanis: He’ll be in the most heavily fortified part of the prison. But first, we have to find where they’re keeping my blood. I cannot touch Calivan until it’s dealt with.
Rook: So… the wings.
Lucanis: They come and go.
- Bellara: That’s not usually how it works. Abominations… stay that way.
- Harding: That’s… nice. Usually it’s flesh lumps, goop, and too many teeth.
- Neve: I’ve never heard of a demon altering its host temporarily.
Lucanis: He doesn’t want to be here.
- Bellara: So where would they keep it? The blood, I mean.
- Harding: This is a big place. Where would they keep vials of blood?
- Neve: The blood vial. Where do we go?
Rook: This would be the way through, if the bridge hadn’t collapsed.
Lucanis: Maybe it still is. The Veil is weak here. It’s making my eyes itch.
Lucanis (Spite): It’s mine.
- Bellara: Blood magic. They used humans and elves as sacrifices to summon spirits.
- Neve: Living prisoners for blood magic. Blood magic to summon spirits.
Rook: Undead. Corpses possessed by demons.
Lucanis: Failed experiments. Abominations who did not survive the… process.
- Mage Rook: The Venatori should be able to command the undead they created.
- Rook: The Venatori created the undead. Shouldn’t they be working together?
Lucanis: Blood mages lose control of abominations all the time. And these demons never wanted to be here in the first place.
- Venatori: We brought you into this world! How dare you turn on us?
- Venatori: Relent! I command you!
- Venatori: The failures are running amok! Stop them!
- Venatori: Hold them back! We are their masters!
Rook: They’re losing ground to the demons.
Lucanis: Good.
Calivan: Now, Venatori! Calivan: Venatori, to me! Calivan: Venatori, bind them! Calivan: Venatori, cage this rabble!
Calivan: Fool! Their blood only makes me stronger! Lucanis: We need to take out the barrier first!
- Bellara: Oh, that shield’s a problem! We can’t touch him while it’s up!
- Harding: He’s shielded! We can’t touch him!
- Neve: Calivan’s shield needs to go!
Lucanis: I can handle that.
Viago: Antaam on one side and now Venatori on the other? The Crows need House Dellamorte to stand with us.
Teia: We need fewer knives at our throats.
