Warden Forward Camp

Rook heads to the Hossberg Wetlands and meets with Evka..

Evka: Rook! You made it. Good.

Rook: Wouldn’t miss it. We have unfinished business with that dragon. What’s the situation out here?

Evka: Could be better. The darkspawn attack, and then immediately withdraw. But they never hit the same place twice. They’re testing our defenses for weaknesses. Darkspawn aren’t supposed to be that smart. But it’s not really them thinking, is it…

Evka: I don’t know about you, Rook, but my oath didn’t mention fighting gods. The First Warden called this the “Blight to end all Blights.” He might be right.

Evka: Weisshaupt left people terrified. No one signed up to fight gods. The First Warden called it the “Blight to end all Blights.” He might be right.

Dialogue options:

1 - Affable: Maybe.

Rook: By my count, Elgar’nan and Ghilan’nain are the last two gods. Aside from Solas. If we put them down? Maybe this is really it. The last Blight.

Evka: That… it’s hard to imagine what that looks like right now.

Rook: First things first. Let’s deal with that blighted dragon.

Scene continues. [5]

2 - Irreverent: He’s gone. You’re not.

Rook: He’s not First Warden anymore, though. The Wardens now look to you, Evka. Show them what it means to fight.

Evka: Right. So, any advice? Get back up every time you’ve been knocked down?

Rook: I’m surprisingly bad at knowing when I should quit. Now, the blighted dragon.

3 - Tough: There’s no time for that.

Rook: We need to focus on killing that blighted dragon. We’ll mourn the dead after we bring it down.

Scene continues. [5]

4 - Grey Warden: In war, victory.

Rook: We took the same oath. Drank from the same chalice. In war, victory. Wars don’t come bigger than this. So let’s go for victory. Which means putting down that blighted dragon.

Scene continues. [5]

5 - Scene continues.

Evka: Right. We’ve tracked it to a ruined tower nearby. Probably licking its wounds after its fight with you. We’ve got ballistas ready with clear shots on the tower. But it won’t come into the open. Already lost eleven Wardens trying to pry it out.

Taash: Only another dragon can fight a dragon in a tight space. Anything else gets shredded. No room to dodge or keep your distance. We need to lure her out to have any chance.

Evka: How do we do that?

Taash: Get me inside the tower. I’ve got a call that’ll grab her attention.

Evka: Works for me.

Evka: I sent word to the Shadow Dragons. Thought they might want another shot at this thing. Evka: I sent word to the Crows. Thought they might want another shot at the dragon.

Evka: Besides. Figured they owed you one, after you helped drive it off the last time.

Rook: And?

Evka: Haven’t heard back yet. We reached out to the Veil Jumpers too, but they’ve got their own problems with the Venatori. Looks like it’s just us.

Dialogue options:
  • Affable: We’ve got this.
Rook: If anyone can do this, it’s us. We had your back at Weisshaupt. And we’ve got it here.

  • Irreverent: We’ll make it work.
Rook: Good thing we’re improvisers. No giant face in the clouds this time, right?

  • Tough: Let’s not waste time.
Rook: Then let’s get to it.

Evka: Okay. Here’s where we stand. Wardens Jaynie and Rhodri are keeping people out of the battlefield. I don’t think anyone local will test their luck with a dragon, but we’re taking no chances. They’ve already got orders to let you through.

Rook: Good. Rest of you can head to the walls. Give the Wardens all the support you can.

  • Bellara: Got it, Rook.
  • Davrin: Whatever you say, Rook.
  • Emmrich: Of course, Rook.
  • Harding: Got it, Rook.

Evka: Good luck. To all of us.

Rook talks to Evka again.

Evka: Can’t say there aren’t doubts. After what happened…

Rook: This won’t be another Weisshaupt.

Evka: I believe you. Antoine does, too. The rest need to see what we’ve seen.

  • Evka: In war, victory.
  • Evka: We’re with you, Rook.
  • Evka: We’ve got this, Rook. Lead the way.
    Rook: Right. In war, victory.

Rook heads off, speaking to other Wardens as they pass.

  • Warden Sasha: Of course we’re fighting in a swamp. Couldn’t be the plains. Or a nice forest. My boots won’t stop squelching.

  • Warden Tomasz: Thought the last Blight was shit enough. Now, this one’s even more shit. Take the Warden’s oath! Better than the gallows, right? Fuck off, Willis.

  • Warden Vaughan: Shield, good. Armor, good. Sword… where’s my sword? Oh, shit. I can’t find my sword!
    Warden Sasha: You’re holding it.
    Warden Vaughan: Right. Thank you!

  • Warden Sasha: Rook! Don’t worry. We’ll handle things over here. You focus on that dragon, right?

  • Warden Tomasz: Rook! I saw what you pulled with the dagger at Weisshaupt. You bring some of that to this fight, we’ll be all right.

  • Warden Vaughan: Rook! Glad you’re here. Now we might have a shot at stopping this thing.

Rook speaks to Antoine.

Rook: Antoine. You ready for this?

Antoine: I will be! We must stop this here. Between us, you, and your friends, I’m sure we can.

Antoine: Bonne chance, Rook. To all of us.

Rook continues through the nearby gate.

Making Preparations

Rook: Flynn! The Wardens couldn’t ask for better field care.

Flynn: You’ve been a big help. Thanks.
Rook: I hope the Wardens won’t need your skills, Doctor.

Flynn: I don’t know.

Rook: Stay ready, doctor. Flynn: Yes.

Rook speaks to Emmrich nearby.

  • Emmrich: It’s odd. Weisshaupt was far worse than this, yet I’m beset with nervousness. I suppose we had little time to contemplate the horrors we found waiting at the fortress.
  • Emmrich: Dragon hunters are the pride of Nevarra, yet I doubt any faced a beast such as this. If any of that boastful order were here, I’d welcome them to it.
  • Emmrich: Come. It’s time we struck another blow against the gods.
  • Emmrich: I’m ready.

If Mayor Julius is sent to the Wardens, he’ll be near Emmrich.

Rook: The mayor of D’Meta’s Crossing. You’ll fight on our side?

  • Mayor Julius: Yes, I… it’s nothing like they promised. You have my sword. However good it is.
  • Mayor Julius: I’m ready.

Neve is waiting around the corner.

Saved MinrathousSaved Treviso
Neve: This is revenge for Minrathous. Can’t change the past, but it won’t happen again. And after… maybe we find the one that hit Treviso. I’m sure Lucanis wants his own vengeance.Neve: Wish we had a shot at the dragon that hit Minrathous. But I’ll take this one. Its caused enough damage as well. I’m sure Lucanis would like the revenge.
  • Neve: I’m not afraid of getting dirty, but fighting in this swamp… I’ll be scraping mud out of my ears for weeks. Guess it could be worse.
  • Neve: Got my fingers crossed for us.
  • Neve: I’m ready, Rook. Just say the word.

Lucanis is waiting across from Neve.

Saved MinrathousSaved Treviso
Lucanis: I wish Treviso could have its own vengeance today. But I won’t begrudge Neve her chance at payback for Minrathous. This dragon will fall. And one day a second will follow.Lucanis: Treviso’s vengeance is at hand. This is for the Crows, our people–all who have suffered. Then we will find the one who struck Minrathous. Let Neve taste vengeance, too.
  • Lucanis: I’m ready. It falls here.
  • Lucanis: I’m ready.

Taash waits next to Lucanis.

  • Taash: That dragon doesn’t deserve this crap. Ghilan’nain screwed her up. All that blight. Let’s go set her free.
  • Taash: Right. We’ve got this.
  • Taash: Let’s do it.

Harding stands in the next area.

  • Harding: I keep thinking I should do something special to my arrows. Poison. Magic. Ooh, explosives. Just never seem to find the time.
  • Harding: I wonder if Bellara has another one of those elven magic bows. If I asked nicely, I bet she’d let me try hers.
  • Harding: Ready.

Rook heads into an open swamp area where more Wardens wait.

(Dragon roars in distance)

  • Warden Harris: Worst part of front-line duty has to be the rations. Especially out here. Nothing grows. All this bread, cheese, and salted meat, it can’t be good for me.
  • Warden Harris: Is this water in my canteen? Doesn’t taste like it. Don’t know really what it tastes like. It’s not good. What I wouldn’t give for a mug of ale. Or something stronger.
  • Warden Harris: Rook. Didn’t happen to bring any food, did you? No. Course not. Well, we’re ready whenever you are. Just say the word.

Bellara stands nearby.

  • Bellara: Okay. Blighted dragon. We’ve got this. We can do this. Not a problem. I just… kind of want to throw up.
  • Bellara: Here we go. Deep breaths. Calming, calming breaths. Single dragon’s nothing, right? We took out an Archdemon. Which… turned into a pile of blight. And then a monster. Okay. That didn’t help.
  • Bellara: Here we go.
  • Bellara: We’ve got this, Rook.

Another Warden is by Bellara.

  • Warden Thea: Can’t believe today’s my hundredth battle. Well. Hundredth with how I count them. Nothing smaller than a hundred darkspawn. No fewer than a dozen Wardens.
  • Warden Thea: Never fought anything like this before. I’ve fought dragons, but… normal ones, you know? The blight changes everything. This will be a tough one.
  • Warden Thea: Rook. It’s ugly out there. Hope you’ve got something up your sleeve. Just like at Weisshaupt, right?

Rook speaks to anther Warden by Davrin.

Warden Greta: This can’t be Weisshaupt again.

Rook: It won’t be.

(Dragon roars in distance)

Davrin stands nearby.

  • Davrin: I lost a lot of friends at Weisshaupt. Ghilan’nain’s going to pay. Soon. For now, though, this’ll have to do.
  • Davrin: Taking away the gods’ pets has to help, right? Puts us one step closer to taking them down.
  • Davrin: Ready whenever you are.

Rook heads up the stairs.

Warden Augustin: Your dragon expert has us ready. Call it and the fight begins.

Rook speaks to the pair of Wardens waiting at the gate.

Warden Rhodri: Rook. Heard you were coming.

Warden Jaynie: Dragon’s right this way. Careful, though. Nasty creature. It’s already killed eleven Wardens.

Dialogue options:
  • Affable: We’ll be careful.
Rook: We already have firsthand experience with this dragon. We’ll be careful.

  • Irreverent: That’s why we have Taash.
Rook: That’s why we brought our dragon hunter. We fought this thing before and don’t want to take any chances this time around.

  • Tough: We’ll take it down fast.
Rook: We need to hit it hard and fast, as soon as Taash lures it out of that tower. Longer that thing lives, the more people die.

Warden Rhodri: Agreed. You’ll find it straight ahead. Good luck, Rook. We’re ready when you are.

Dragon Attack

Taash and Rook head up the steps to the tower where the dragon hides.

Taash: She’s still a dragon under all that blight. A wounded and angry dragon.

Rook: Meaning?

Taash: That lair is a death trap. She’ll rip us apart. So we challenge her. Draw the dragon out into the open. Then attack.

A nearby Warden mans the ballista.

Rook: Sounds good.

Taash: Just make sure everyone is ready.

Rook: Are you ready?

Completed Little Dragon HatchesDid not completed Little Dragon Hatches
Taash: I’ve got this.Taash: Guess we’ll find out.

Taash heads in and looks down the hole under the tower.

Taash: Just you and me now.

Outside, Rook and the Wardens prepare.

Rook: Everyone! Get ready!

Warden Tomasz: Wardens! Ready ballistas!

Taash blows their dragon horn. There is an anxious shift among the Wardens.

Warden Tomasz: Wait for it… wait for it…

Taash: Come on. Come on.

They draw their axes before using their fire. A fireball explodes from below, and Taash is knocked aside as the dragon flies out.

Warden Tomasz: Fire!

Taash: Hit the wings! Force her to land!

Warden Sasha: Second detachment! Flank on the walls!

Rook: Let’s go!

Rook rushes in, but the party gets knocked aside.

Rook: (Grunts)

They get flung into the Shallows where the fighting starts.

Rook: We got it out of the tower!

Taash in PartyTaash not in party
Taash: She’s real mad! Gonna be coming in hard. You ready?

Rook: Let’s go!
Taash: She’s ready to fight! We’ll hit it from up here! Keep it busy down there!

Rook: Good a plan as any!

Antoine: That’s right! We haven’t fallen yet!

Rook: Watch out for those claws!

  • Bellara: That’s not the only part that’s dangerous!
  • Davrin: Every part of this beast is dangerous!
  • Emmrich: I see them!
  • Harding: Watch out for everything!
  • Lucanis: I was planning on it!
  • Neve: That’s not the only part that’s dangerous!
  • Taash: Way ahead of you!

They start to damage it.

  • Bellara: I don’t know a lot about dragons! But I think we’re hurting it!
  • Davrin: We hurt it!
  • Emmrich: I believe she felt that!
  • Harding: We’re hurting it!
  • Lucanis: It feels our anger. Good!
  • Neve: It’s not happy with us. Good!
  • Taash: Keep it up! She’s feeling it!

Rook: Still a lot of fight left to go! We need to bring this thing down!

Warden Jaynie: We can’t give up!

The dragon takes flight. (This dialogue may be deleted.)

Rook: It’s taking off!

Taash in partyTaash not in party
Taash: Not for long! It’ll come right back down. Trust me.
  • Bellara: Taash said it’ll come right back down! And Taash knows dragons!
  • Davrin: Taash said it’ll land again! Let’s trust them!
  • Emmrich: According to Taash, it should come back down! We need to trust them!
  • Harding: If Taash says it’s coming down, it probably is! They’re the expert!
  • Lucanis: Taash said it will come back down! I trust their call.
  • Neve: Taash said it would come down, right? They’re the expert!

The dragon lands again.

Rook: There! Back on the ground.

Taash in party
Taash: Right! Let’s kick her ass!

Rook: Hit it with everything you’ve got!

The dragon’s health gets low.

  • Bellara: It’s starting to weaken!
  • Davrin: It’s weakening!
  • Emmrich: She’s growing weaker!
  • Harding: It’s working! Keep it up!
  • Lucanis: It’s starting to falter!
  • Neve: There! It’s starting to falter!

Rook: Give it everything you’ve got! It’s not getting away this time!

The dragon staggers, and Rook looks up.

Rook: (Gasps) Second dragon!

The second dragon flies in, lighting the embankments on fire.

Warden Tomasz: Press the attack! Bring that first one down!

The Wardens press forward as blight appears from the ground, grabbing them.

Warden Sasha: Vaughn!

Ghilan’nain rises out of the blight, knocking a Warden into the nearby dragon. Blight tentacles grab a Warden around the head.

Warden Vaughn: (Choked gasp)

Ghilan’nain grabs another Warden, stabbing them multiple times before dropping their body.

Rook: Ghilan’nain.

Ghilan’nain: Wardens! You defied me at Weisshaupt. Stole my Archdemon. I will have blood for that.

Darkspawn rise from the ground, clashing with the Wardens. Rook stands.

Rook: (Grunts with effort.)

Ghilan’nain: Be healed, my pet. The blight grants you new life. Bring me their bodies once you are finished.

The dragon Rook was fighting appears to heal, and both dragons fly down.

Rook: That’s the dragon that attacked Minrathous, right?

Neve in partyNeve not in party
Neve: It damn well is.

Rook: Time to take your revenge. Let’s bring it down!
  • Bellara: I think so!
  • Davrin: Has to be, right?
  • Emmrich: I believe it is!
  • Lucanis: Must be!
  • Taash: Sure seems like it!

Rook: Let’s take it down for Neve.

  • Bellara: For Neve!
  • Davrin: For Neve!
  • Emmrich: For Neve!
  • Harding: For Neve!
  • Lucanis: Her city will be avenged!
  • Taash: For Neve!

Ghilan’nain: I came to Weisshaupt bearing gifts! In ignorance, you reject this world’s salvation!

Rook: One dragon or two! Doesn’t matter! We can’t lose here! We won’t lose here!

Ghilan’nain: The blight can be tamed. Turned to a greater purpose. But I must have material for the work!

Rook: We came here to kill a dragon! And now we’re going to kill two!

Ghilan’nain: Clamor. Panic. Fear. None of you will understand what the world could be! What it should be!

Rook: No more retreating! No more falling back!

Ghilan’nain: Better to die than accept a life not yet molded to perfection. I will grant you that mercy. Die with the knowledge your sacrifice will help bring about a glorious age!

Rook: So let’s hit them with everything we’ve got! And remind them that mortals don’t back down!

Ally Assistance

After Rook continues fighting a while, they stand between the two dragons. One of them rears to attack, and it is struck by a ballista. There are more shots fired as the dragons turn their attention to the side of the arena.

Saved MinrathousSaved Treviso
Rook: Viper!

The Viper: Thought you could use a hand! Fire!
Rook: Viago!

Viago: We thought you could use a hand. Fire!

More shots fly at the dragon. Evka kills another darkspawn.

Evka: (Grunt) You’re late!

Saved MinrathousSaved Treviso
The Viper: Didn’t want to arrive without a gift. Enchanted ballista bolts. They’ll even pierce blighted dragon hide. Let’s bring them down, Rook!

Viago: Yes. But we brought gifts. Poisoned ballista bolts. Guaranteed to solve your blighted dragon problem. Let’s bring them down, Rook!

Ghilan’nain: My Archdemon was a unique creation! It will never rise again! For that death alone, you will perish!

Rook: It’s weakening! Keep pressing!

  • Warden Rhodri: We won’t give in!
  • Flynn: We can’t give up!

The dragon takes to the air.

  • Rook: It’s up! Watch out!
  • Rook: Look out! Overhead! Move out of the way!
  • Rook: There it goes! Get out of the way!

One of the dragons hits half health.

Rook: First one’s almost dead! Keep at it!

Evka: Damn it! Reinforcements! We’ll hold them off! You take down those dragons.

They keep fighting.

Rook: Second dragon’s weakening! Give it everything you’ve got!

Ghilan’nain: There is no creation without pain. Destruction. Sacrifice. I shall teach this to the creatures that I sculpt from your flesh!

Ghilan’nain: We will tame this affliction you call the blight, and remake this world as a pure, shining empire! All who oppose us will be repurposed. For the greater good.

The party kills one of the dragons.

  • Bellara: That’s one dragon down!
  • Davrin: One dragon’s dead!
  • Davrin: One dragon is down!
  • Emmrich: We’ve felled one of the beasts!
  • Emmrich: We’ve felled one of the dragons!
  • Harding: That’s one dragon down!
  • Lucanis: One target down!
  • Neve: That’s one less dragon!
  • Taash: One down!

Rook: Then focus on the second one!

They continue fighting. The dragon takes flight.

Evka: Rook! Hang on! We’ll wrap this up quickly!

The other dragon hits half health.

Evka: Shit! More reinforcements! Wardens, to me!

Antoine: Stay strong, Rook! We have your back!

Evka: Just keep fighting!

Warden Greta: We can do this!

The dragon’s health gets low.

Antoine: They’re retreating!

The second dragon falls.

Evka: For Weisshaupt!

Wardens start to cheer.

Rook: Got it!

Ghilan’nain: Confidence. Eagerness. All for naught. You think the blight is death. It is raw potential. A perfect tool of creation.

Blight begins to wrap around the dragons, and they begin to move again.

Rook: No… she’s reanimating the dragons! We have to stop her!

Rook starts to run, firing a ballista at her as they dodge the blight. The bolt pierces her, and the dragons fall.

Ghilan’nain: (Pained cry)

Evka: Ghilan’nain’s wounded! Press the attack!

Wardens begin to surge and Rook moves towards them. There’s a blast of magic, and time seems to stop. Elgar’nan appears.

Elgar’nan: Sister. Do not be blinded by righteous anger.

Ghilan’nain: They stole Razikale from me, Elgar’nan. My greatest creation!

Elgar’nan: A thrall is easily replaced. You are not. Without you, the blight is a brute weapon. Only your hands mold it into life.

The bolt disappears.

Ghilan’nain: (Pained gasp) The mortals deserve worse… But we have crucial work in Arlathan.

Elgar’nan: After it is complete—One resists.

Ghilan’nain: The Dread Wolf’s influence. His presence lingers.

Elgar’nan: Ever defiant. For now.

They leave, and the spell ends. Wardens crash to the ground, and the battle is over.

The Gods’ Next Move

Rook reconvenes with Antoine and Evka.

Evka: You know what lesson I learned again today?

Rook: What’s that?

Evka: Never bet against Rook. You can find the twisting path through any problem.

  • Bellara: But the gods got away. And now Elgar’nan has stepped from the shadows.
  • Davrin: Just wish Elgar’nan hadn’t shown up. The gods got away.
  • Emmrich: Unfortunately, Elgar’nan taking the field allowed the gods to slip away.
  • Harding: But thanks to Elgar’nan showing up, the gods got away.
  • Lucanis: But the gods got away. And now Elgar’nan has stepped from the shadows.
  • Neve: Too bad the gods got away. And Elgar’nan has become bolder.
  • Taash: Gods still got away. And now Elgar’nan’s pissing everywhere to show everyone how big he is.

Antoine: We came to kill a dragon, yes? And instead we killed a pair!

Rook: That took two of the gods’ pieces off the board.

The Viper: And we have our revenge. And so does Treviso.

Lucanis: We destroyed weapons. The wielder still lives.Evka: We won the day. Can’t take that from us. But the dragons are only weapons. The wielder is still out there.

Antoine: How do we find them? The gods, I mean?

Dialogue options:

1 - We have other allies.

Rook: Evka, when we arrived, you’d already reached out to the Veil Jumpers.

Evka: Right. They couldn’t help because they were… dealing with the Venatori. Coincidental timing, isn’t it?

Rook: And Ghilan’nain mentioned Arlathan.

Evka: When did she say that?

Rook: After Elgar’nan cast his spell. I was close enough to hear them.

Evka: Arlathan is huge. The gods could be anywhere in that forest.

2 - Arlathan.

Rook: Ghilan’nain mentioned something about Arlathan.

Evka: When was that?

Rook: After Elgar’nan cast his spell. I was close enough to hear them. Didn’t you say the Veil Jumpers have trouble out there, Evka?

Evka: Yeah. With the Venatori. Feels like more than a coincidence.

Antoine: But we’ll do what we can. We always do.

Evka: The Wardens have your back, Rook. All the way to the end.

First Things First

The party meets back at the Lighthouse

Davrin: So that’s Elgar’nan, huh? I didn’t think it was possible, but… we got lucky at Weisshaupt.

Emmrich: We are fortunate Elgar’nan and Ghilan’nain disagreed on her attempt at vengeance. But why did Elgar’nan let us live? We were at his mercy.

Dialogue options:

1 - Solas.

Rook: Solas worries him. Maybe even scares him a little.

Neve: Why? Solas is powerful, but nothing close to Elgar’nan.

Taash: It’s not just about power. Solas has messed up Elgar’nan’s plans before. Nothing’s bigger than dragons. But they’re clever enough to take flight once they smell danger. Elgar’nan smelled danger.

Scene continues. [4]

2 - Ghilan’nain.

Rook: He needs Ghilan’nain for whatever he’s planning. And his spell was starting to fail.

Taash: Right. Ghilan’nain’s mortal now. Killing us would’ve put her in danger. Elgar’nan’s clever enough to retreat rather than take unnecessary risks.

Scene continues. [4]

3 - He’s confident, but careful.

Rook: They talked to each other like we weren’t even there. It wasn’t until the spell started to fail that he noticed us at all.

Taash: We weren’t a threat until then. He left as soon as we were. Means he’s clever enough not to push his luck.

6 - Arlathan makes sense.

Rook: That’ll put us on the gods’ trail, but we need to be ready for the fight once we find them. Which means we need to help our allies be as prepared as possible. The eight of us can’t face gods without help.

Scene continues. [8]

7 - First things first.

  • Taash: Like whoever is blighting dragons for the gods.

Rook: Look. The mission’s still the same. Stop the gods.

Emmrich: Which means?

Rook: It means we offer to help the Veil Jumpers with the damn Venatori. Then we figure out what our other allies need, and help them get it.

Taash: And us?

Rook: I need you focused and ready to face impossible odds. So tell me what that will take.

Rook: We’ve got work to do.

Rook meets with Varric.

Varric: So Elgar’nan finally showed his face, huh?

Rook: Now we’ve got to deal with both gods. And Elgar’nan showed everyone he’s more powerful than Ghilan’nain.

Varric: You play the hand you’re dealt, right? No matter the odds. True in both life and games of Wicked Grace.

Rook: People died, Varric. My team’s still not at their best. They’re trying, but their own problems are getting in the way.

Varric: So deal with those. You’ll strengthen your own hand, and weaken the gods at the same time.

Rook: Why would helping my team hurt the gods?

Varric: The type of people your team’s having problems with? They want power. And the gods have plenty of it. Those types will crawl over to the gods and see what’s on offer. And the rest? They’ll just keep making your job harder.

11 - And the Veil Jumpers?

Rook: Still need to find the gods, though. The Veil Jumpers are our best lead right now.

Return to previous tree.

Rook: We’ve taken down an Archdemon and two blighted dragons. That’s impressive. We even made Ghilan’nain bleed. Twice. We have to keep up the fight.

Varric: You’ve got this, Rook. Just fight one battle at a time.
